Really nice hotel with awesome pool, smart, clean and in a good location and really friendly staff. Walking distance from the best of Hamra, very peacful and so nice to have a balcony.

Taxi drivers have a nightmare finding it...best thing to do is ask for Coral Suites and then just go round the corner. Would be great if Midtown printed a little carry card in English and Arabic to show the Taxi drivers.

I highly recommand this hotel in Beirut-Hamra! Comfortable bed, friendly staff, very clean room and a little plate of fruit will be waiting for you in the room upon arrival !

From the balcony, one only sees the buildings in front, but this is always the case if one wants to be in the heart of Hamra.

Location; it was centrally located for easy walking to pigeon rocks, the main mosque and churches and various other places of interest and shopping. It was also a good location being near to the American University of Beirut for good reasonably priced food both in restuarants and street venders.

Theses are not complaints but observations: Current literature on the hotel both on the website and in the hotel is incorrect; the dedicated bar was still under construction; no flowers are placed in deluxe rooms, fruit is not replaced from day one; the swimming pool was not open to the dismay of the guests even thought the temperatures was well into the 20-25 deg C.Staff are poorly trained hence communication with guests is appaulling e.g. bills incorrectly produced, no one informed guests of the situation on arrival re bar and accomodation; computer input on days of stay incorrect. The main electricity power supply fails on a regualr basis but staff do not inform guests on arrival hence it is possible to be stuck in a lift with no knowledge or warning. There was little space between the bed and the wall on one side making getting in and out of bed difficult. Finally, there are areas of the walls that are damp and the paint is peeling which one would not expect in a new hotel.

    Very good

The location was great and the Hotel was quiet. The staff was nice and kind.

The reception staff failed to answer our questions about the city and sightseeing.

  • 6.2
    Good

Location, new building, and good attittude and collaboration from most of the employees to help the customers..

Lack of breakfast facilities, lack of "logistic" to attend customer requirements, lack of gym (at Booked.net website mentions a gym, but it is really not available). And watch out to use your credit card in there, potential clonation is possible.

    Fabulous

Modern rooms with good sanitary facilities. Nice and very helpful staff.

Beds are very hard, causing back pain after a couple of days. Television reception is quite poor. Address information provided by the hotel is incorrect, causing problems (for the taxi) to locate it. Correct address: Sinadi Street near corner of Abdel Aziz Str, Hamra, Beirut.

The hotels location in Hamra makes it easy to shop, access great restaurants, bars and clubs. We easily walked to Hamra Street, the Mediterranean then downtown Beirut and back – that’s our idea of a great location – when you can spend the day on foot seeing a city and not have to depend on taxis. Also, the hotel is new, nicely decorated and the rooms have new fixtures, etc. Internet access was free - with many hotels charging $5 per hour - this was a great benefit. I booked a larger room and was very satisfied with the size of the room. The staff were very nice and accomodating, they booked a tour for us, always greeted us and always inquired if there was anything they could do to improve our stay.

The only thing I would improve is the comfort of the beds (a bit too hard for me) but, the room, bathroom and bedding was very clean - and that has more importance to me :) !

    Fabulous

The service was excellent and the location superb. The hotel is brand new and just opened but is a very good option to stay.

The hotel was not finished yet so things are still under development.

    Fabulous

The service was great - they were helpful and fast.

The noise. We were in the middle of a building site. When Beirut is rebuilt it will be in a great position!

    Very good

The best thing for us was the big bath facilities and the spacious suites. In fact the suites were quiet large compared to other hotel rooms and other suggested suites. We stayed at the business suites for 3 nights first week of september. Very clean suites, helpful staff however the building, reception area, location of hotel and views from suites are fair and not up to the price per night. Would probably pick a hotel closer to downtown area for my next stay.

The service was great, everyone I met of the staff was very kind and competent. The location is perfect if one wants to be in the middle of the center. Some items like the elevator could need a little renewal. But everything is actually very clean and good-looking.

The wlan connection works only without problems when one's standing close to the door/floor. In the middle of the room it looses connection
